513c. Seminar in Community Health Nursing and Public Health. 2 credit hours. Sessions explore the multidisciplinary theoretical foundations that are the basis for community health nursing practice. Topics include history of community health nursing and public health science; structure and function of federal, state, and local health organizations; funding mechanisms for community health care; epidemiological and biostatistical indicators of community health; methods of family and community analyses.
