663a. Child Development Psychopathology and Treatment. 2 credit hours. This course reviews the major childhood disorders; examining epidemiology, risk factors, taxonomy, assessment issues specific to children and adolescents, use of rating scales, as well as evidence-based child-specific treatments. Individual therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, family based interventions, psychopharmacological interventions as well as the integration of combined treatments.
