757a. Primary Care Problems of Adults II.

2 credit hours.

This course is a continuation of 557a/b focusing on the differential diagnosis and management of more complex adult and adolescent health problems. The ongoing primary care management of chronic illness is emphasized. Required for adult, family, gerontological, women’s health, and psychiatric–mental health nurse practitioner students in the final year. Prerequisite: successful completion of 556b (adult and family nurse practitioner students only) and 557a/b. Two hours per week. D. Viens.


757b. Primary Care Problems of Adults II.

2 credit hours.

This course is a continuation of 757a. Lectures focus on assessment and management of chronic illness, highlighting management of patients with co-morbid diseases. Required for adult, family, gerontological, women’s health, and psychiatric–mental health nurse practitioner students in the final year. Prerequisite: successful completion of 756a (adult, family, gerontological, and women’s health nurse practitioners only) and 757a. Two hours per week. D. Viens.
