834a or b. Specialty Pediatric Clinical Practice. 1.7 credit hours. This clinical practicum provides students with the opportunity to gain additional knowledge and experience in specialty practice areas with relevance to pediatric primary care. Required for all pediatric nurse practitioner students in either fall or spring of the final year of specialization, with the exception of those students in the Chronic Illness Care Concentration. Students are expected to be in specialty practice four and one-half hours per week for the fifteen-week term and to participate in clinical conference the equivalent of one-half hour per week.
