Alumnae/i Association Board
All graduates of the Yale University School of Nursing are automatically members of the Alumnae/i Association. The Alumnae/i Association connects with students during their first week by hosting events and activities. At commencement, graduates receive the School pin, a gift of the Alumnae/i Association, signifying their achievements and recognizing them as a Yale Nurse.
In Spring 2003, an Alumnae/i Task Force reviewed the structure and program of the Alumnae/i Association and presented recommendations to better meet the needs of alumnae/i , students and the School. The Board of Directors approved the recommendations and has embarked on a strategic plan to implement a comprehensive program which includes alumnae/i networking, recruitment and job placement, mentoring, career development and continuing education activities. |
