The decision to eliminate the YSN basic program happened in a context of gender and class at Yale. This presentation traces the actors and actions of that period, using University archives including hitherto unavailable papers of President Griswold.

The banquet program includes the presentation of the YSN Distinguished Alumna/us Award and remarks by Dean Margaret Grey '76.
