Call for Letters of Intent for Pilot/Feasibility Studies

Center for Self and Family Management of Vulnerable Populations at Yale University School of Nursing invites submission of letters of intent describing potential pilot/feasibility studies. The purpose of the Pilot/Feasibility Studies Program is to support studies that will contribute to self and family management for people at high risk for developing health problems by virtue of their age, gender, chronic illness, low socioeconomic or minority status, cultural barriers, poor utilization, or lack of equal access to care. Self and family management encompasses a broad range of health, lifestyle, behavioral, and self assessment and treatment activities practiced by an individual, or the family, and with the support of others.

In this round of funding, three grants will be awarded, with a maximum amount of funding of $20,000 for one year.

The deadline for letters of intent has now passed

The research team must include at least one investigator who is a faculty member at Yale University School of Nursing. Interdisciplinary research teams are encouraged.
