Yale School of Nursing Community Service Awards
YSN students become leaders in advanced practice nursing by excelling in their studies and clinical work. Their leadership skills are further honed through their involvement in the community. Over the years, our students have helped develop and have taken part in numerous area outreach programs that have enriched the lives of individuals and families in Greater New Haven.
Each year since 1994, YSN has presented a student with a Community Service Award in recognition of that individual's outstanding contributions to the New Haven community in the delivery of health care or volunteered their time through other community outreach efforts.
