Judy Kunisch is a senior nurse executive with over twenty years experience building and implementing innovative solutions to improve medical quality and manage medical costs. As a leader, Judy introduced new clinical and nursing business models including a disease state management program for prevention of preterm birth and a regional managed care company, VNA Managed Care, Inc. A former Fortune 100 insurance company vice-president, Judy was responsible for medical programs and managed care services in 50 states.
Judy received a BSN from Skidmore College and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is a health care consultant.
Judy’s interest areas include leadership and health care management. She teaches two courses in the NMPL specialty: Key Concepts in Role Development and Advanced Clinical for NMPL.
