Mikki Meadows-Oliver is an Assistant Professor in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Specialty in the Master's program. Her current clinical work is with the Yale-New Haven Hospital's Pediatric Lead Poisoning and Asthma Outreach Programs. Her undergraduate degree is from Barnard College, Columbia University where she majored in psychology. She received dual Master's degrees from Yale University in Nursing and Public Health. She received her doctorate in Nursing from the University of Connecticut. She served as the 2003-2004 President of the Connecticut Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Research interests include homeless families and adolescent mothers, in particular homeless adolescent mothers. Other research interests are children's environmental health issues such as lead poisoning and asthma.
