Yale University School of Nursing Moves Up To Seventh in US News and World Report Rankings of Graduate Schools of Nursing

New Haven, CT — April 3, 2007

Yale University School of Nursing (YSN) has risen to seventh place in the US News and World Report rankings of Graduate Schools of Nursing. During the previous ranking in 2003, YSN was rated 10th in this review of over 1,000 graduate schools across the United States.

In addition to the number seven overall ranking, YSN's masters programs were ranked in the top five. These include Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Specialty (first), Adult Medical-Surgical Clinical Specialists and Midwifery (third), Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health (fourth), and Adult Nurse Practitioner (fifth).
