How to buy a new computer
 Dell Laptops
Each year, we negotiate with Dell Computer for several models of laptops at discounted prices for our students. To see the current lineup of models available, go to http://www.dell.com/YaleMedCenter

Remember that the listed configurations do not include any productivity software. Our recommendation is to buy the student-discounted Microsoft Office Professional through the Yale software purchase site at www.yale.edu/sc/purchase/office.
*An activated netid and password are required to access the site

Go to the Apple Store < http://store.apple.com/ >.
- On the right-hand side, click on the link under "other stores" for Higher Education
- On the left-hand side, click the link for College or university student
- Enter "06520" as the zip code, click "Find"
- Select "Yale University" on Right and click "Continue"
- Click "I Accept" if you can agree to their terms
- DO NOT Click on the Green "Take Me There" link unless you have a netid and want to take five more steps to get back to the same set of prices with only a few pre-configured systems added as options
- Instead, click on the "Apple Store for Education" link below it.
