Kevin Driscoll

Kevin Driscoll earned a BSN at the University of Maryland in 2005, after being deployed with the United States Coast Guard, and his MSN at the University of Pennsylvania along with a Certificate in Business Essentials from the Wharton School of Business. He gained his ICU experience in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland while simultaneously working as an Organ Recovery Coordinator for the Maryland Transplant Resource Center. Recently, he worked as a nurse anesthetist at Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was the lead anesthetist in the institutions first surgical collaborative unit based safety program (CUSP) where, over a three-year term, the team decreased surgical site infections (SSIs) in the colorectal patient population by almost 75%. In addition, he is a fellow of the Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and co-chaired the PACU clinical community for Johns Hopkins Medicine. Currently he is employed by First Colony Anesthesia, which is the largest private employer of anesthesia service in Maryland and Is the Inaugural Emerging Leader Fellow for the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
