Dewi Brown-DeVeaux is the Manager for Neuroscience/Stroke unit at NYU Langone Health – Brooklyn.
Dewi Vivica Brown earned her BS in Healthcare Management from State University of New York Stonybrook, a BSN from Molloy College and a MSN in Nursing Administration from New York University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
During her nursing career, she has held various leadership position at NYU Langone Health. She assisted in creating a nurse focus emergency response team that worked at the forefront, in collaboration with other medical professions, in an attempt to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest and promote good clinical outcomes. Dewi along with the team was featured in the NY Times as, innovative and dynamic. Since 2007, she worked at NYU school of nursing as a simulation lab instructor. Her professional and personal background have fostered a deep commitment to elimination of health and health care disparities in the underserved health populations.
