Full-time tuition for graduate nursing students is $19,915 per term in 2017-18. Students in the first year of the Graduate Entry Prespecialty in Nursing (GEPN) program also assessed an additional summer term tuition fee of $15,834. Tuition for the part-time students, including all students enrolled in the DNP program, is $13,239 each semester. Students enrolled in the Post-Master’s Certificate program, or on a Non-matriculated basis, may instead be assessed at the per-credit rate of $1,575/credit. A nonrefundable fee of $600 is required within three weeks of the receipt of an offer of admission in order to secure a place in the entering class. For matriculating students, $300 will be credited to the fall term tuition.
Incoming GEPN students pay a technology fee of $1,750. All other graduate students are assessed a technology fee of $600. All YSN students pay an annual student activities of $100. Physical assessment courses have a lab fee of up to $400, and some clinical courses may also have a lab fee. Students are also responsible for the cost of equipment, uniforms, books, photocopying, transportation to and from clinical sites, and on-site parking, if needed. The University requires hospitalization insurance for all students; the charge for single student coverage with the Yale Health Plan during the 2017-18 year is $2,332. This fee may be waived with proof of alternative coverage for each year of enrollment.
Service fees are charged for late registration, course schedule changes after the add/drop period, Internet connectivity from a student residence, late return of library materials, and the like.
