Celebrating 50 years of nursing, Bernadette Forget, MSN, EdD, has valued the exceptionaleducational, clinical, and administrative opportunities she has had throughout her career. Leadership roles in dermatology nursing and nursing administration opened professional and community relationships that led to improved care for patients and families. Bernadette served as the first president of the Delta Mu chapter of Sigma Theta Tau. She also created the Dermatology Nurses’ Association with colleagues. While retired, Bernadette enjoys her work for a non-profit board and her time serving on the YSNAA Board of Directors, and as a delegate to the Association of Yale Alumni.
