Halley Ruppel, PhD Candidate, and Marge Funk – along with 2 co-authors (Nancy Blake and JoAnne Phillips) – were awarded the Best Research Article of 2016 in the journal Biomedical Instrumentation & Technology for “Use of Monitor Watchers in Hospitals: Characteristics, Training, and Practices”. They were recognized at the annual conference of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation in Austin, TX in June.
