In anticipation of the burgeoning debate surrounding repeal of the Affordable Care Act, the Deans’ Nursing Policy Coalition, which includes Yale School of Nursing’s Dean, Ann Kurth, has sent a letter to congressional leaders urging them to carefully consider the consequences of “repeal without replace.”
Nurses represent the largest portion of the healthcare workforce and the letter, authored by the Deans of the top-ranking private nursing schools in the U.S., makes note of the vital importance of those voices in any future conversation about healthcare coverage for American individuals, families and communities.
