Alexandra Carr

Alexandra Carr currently works as a nurse on the Neuroscience Transitional Care Unit at UCSF Medical Center.

Prior to this, she worked on the Surgical/Neurological ICU at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Florida and taught as a Visiting Professor for Chamberlain College of Nursing. While in Florida, she learned that her great interest is in Nursing Performance Improvement, after collaborating on several projects, including improving hospital vaccination rates, eliminating CAUTI, and reducing unnecessary consults of the WOC nursing team. 

Alexandra earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health and a minor degree in Spanish Language from UC Berkeley. She received an MSN from the University of San Francisco and is a certified Clinical Nurse Leader. In her free time, she enjoys running half marathons, cooking, and lurking on Reddit.
