Renee Benfari

Renee Benfari is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist who currently works for Western Connecticut Health Network at Danbury Hospital. Renee currently serves at the Vice President for the Connecticut State Association of Nurse Anesthetists and is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

She has been in health care for twelve years, with roles in hospital and ambulatory centers.

She graduated from Villanova University where she received a Master’s Degree in Nursing. After graduating from anesthesia school she practiced as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Yale New Haven Hospital until 2016. Prior to this, Renee earned an accelerated Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Cum Laude from Villanova University. After graduation, Renee’s passion for pediatrics led her to work in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  

Renee completed her first Bachelor’s Degree in International Business at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. Renee worked primarily in product development, marketing, and finance. 

Her specialty interests include health care policy development and improvements in health outcomes. 
Renee currently resides in Oxford, Connecticut with her family.
