Yale School of Nursing, Yale University's Graduate Nursing Programs

Student Life

The Yale School of Nursing is a student-oriented institution dedicated to fulfilling its mission of providing "better health for all people." A nurturing and communal environment, the School seeks to enrich students both academically and socially.

Students at the Yale School of Nursing become leaders in advanced practice nursing by excelling in their studies and clinical work. But our students always strive to do more, and the School encourages them to lend helping hands to area outreach programs in New Haven and its surrounding communities.

Our students have the intellect to conduct cutting-edge research, the ambition to learn and the desire to help others through clinical practice and community service. It is the goal of the Yale School of Nursing to provide an environment to foster the relationships that don't just cease after your education is finished, but continue for a lifetime.
