Lisa Q. Corbett

Lisa Q. Corbett DNP,APRN, ACNS-BC, CWOCN (BSN University of Rochester; MSN Indiana University; DNP Yale University), provides system wound leadership for a large integrated health system, Hartford HealthCare, in New England. She has accountability for wound related clinical, regulatory and financial outcomes, organizational strategy, clinical value analysis, inter-professional competency, contracts integration. She leads the Nursing Research programs, Shared Governance Council and Advanced Practice Legislative Action Council.  She is chair of the Connecticut Nursing Research Alliance and co-owner of a private practice providing wound consultation to skilled nursing and home care settings. She is a past Board Member of the Wound Reach Foundation, the American College of Wound Healing and Tissue Repair, and the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care where she serves as co-chair of the Guidelines Task Force. She has co-authored a textbook on wound care, as well as several journal articles, white papers and collaborative society clinical practice guidelines.   She is a Lecturer in the DNP Program at Yale University School of Nursing where she teaches Quality and Safety in Healthcare Organizations in the DNP Program. Her research interests include developing healthcare system change capability, the development of evidence for unavoidable pressure ulcers in critical care and the reduction of harm in the community health setting.
