- The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes nurses who have demonstrated achievement or distinction in their careers, in their contributions to their communities, or to Yale School of Nursing. The celebration was first created in 1973, and more than 100 alumni have since been honored in this way.
- The Decade Award was so well received in 2021 that YSNAA is pleased to continue this new tradition. The Decade Award recognizes outstanding efforts and impactful, value-driven outcomes early in a graduate’s nursing career. To be considered for this award, nominees must have received a YSN degree within the past 10 years and still be engaged in the nursing profession. Please specify any Decade Award nominations in the webform.
