This workshop is designed for advanced practice nurses and midwives, and students in these disciplines. In this landscape of increasing complexity and uncertainty in our health care system, healthcare providers need to be involved in working for solutions to fix our broken system, advocate for our the best interests of all our patients, and protect our own ability to practice to the full extent of our professional role. Understanding how government works and how to participate in the legislative process in the most effective way will help us all achieve these goals.
