Visiting Scholars

The YSN Office of Diversity and Inclusion Visiting Scholars Program will focus on supporting scholars during their academic sabbaticals from an outside institution. Scholars will be selected for their contributions to their professions, and their potential contributions to the intellectual life of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. The Program will be open to individuals of any minority group, with an emphasis on the appointment of scholars who demonstrate an interest in health equity and/or social justice. Minority faculty from across the U.S. will be eligible. Appointments will be for no less than one academic term and no longer than one academic year. The goal is to immerse the visiting scholar in the Yale University research environment to help build the next generation of diversity scholars.

The first Visiting Scholars will come to Yale during the 2017-2018 academic year.  More information on the application process will be coming soon.
