We are delighted that Artspace will be holding its 2018 City-Wide Open Studios “Alternative Space Weekend” at West Campus on October 26 - 28 at Building 410. Art, or our shared cultural heritage, has been a prominent feature since the earliest days of the Campus, and the 2018 theme of the Open Studios – “Wellness” – resonates across much of our work here today, including the Yale School of Nursing, and the health and energy science Institutes and campus landscape.
The largest convening of visual artist in Connecticut, this event offers artists who are interested in creating site-specific works a unique backdrop to showcase their talents. Aspiring and established artists alike can be part of Alternative Space Weekend on West Campus by registering to be part of the event by September 1st.
Tsai CITY is providing full registration subsidy and mentorship to any full time Yale student, graduate or undergraduate, who wishes to participate. Students should fill out this form and contact onyeka.obiocha@yale.edu with any questions.
