Re-application policy

Applicants to Yale School of Nursing who have applied three times to the same program without an offer of admission will not be allowed to reapply to that program again. Programs that result in conferral of an identical degree are considered the same. This means that the three-year GEPN program and direct entry MSN program, for the purpose of this policy, are considered the same. Candidates may however apply to the DNP program even if they have been denied entry into the GEPN/MSN or PMC programs three times.

The PhD in Nursing is facilitated by Yale’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. For more information see the Graduate School admissions page.

YSN only enrolls new students once per calendar year, in late August.

Please note Yale University’s Non-discrimination/Title IX Statement.
