Post-master’s certification at YSN is available in four areas: adult/gerontology acute care nurse practitioner, family nurse practitioner, pediatric nurse practitioner, and psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner.

Many students finish the post-master’s program in two years. Because the program allows students to design an individual plan of study with their faculty, the on-time graduation rate for YSN’s post-master’s students is 50%. The job placement rate for post-master’s graduates is 100%.

Tuition is figured at a rate of $1,400 per credit. Students are not charged for courses that are waived by either transcript or challenge examination. Students in the post-master’s program are charged an average of $31,711.50 in tuition and fees over the course of the program. The average cost of books and supplies for post-master’s students is approximately $1,000. post-master’s students are not eligible for scholarship aid, but may be eligible for loan assistance based on individual need. The median loan debt incurred by post-master’s students who complete the program is $24,010 in unsubsidized loans. (This amount includes prior debt the students incur before entering the program, as well as the debt incurred as part of completing the program.)
