In October, Dr. Nancy Redeker, the Beatrice Renfield Term Professor of Nursing, will become the Chair-Elect of the Council for Advancement of Nursing Science (CANS), the leading group for nursing research in the U.S. With a mission of “promoting better health through nursing science”, CANS aims to be a strong voice nationally and internationally in support of the development, conduct and utilization of nursing science.
