Sapana Patel, DNP ’18, has been appointed as the consulting director of Health Innovation & EntrepreNurseship at Northeastern University. In this role she will cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit required for innovation in healthcare by providing interdisciplinary education, opportunities & tools for successful team approaches.
During her DNP journey here at YSN, Sapana worked on creating a toolkit on “Innovative Business Models for Nurse Practitioner Practice.” Her new position at Northeastern aligns with her passion to integrate entrepreneurship and innovation into the nursing profession. Her hopes are to create an array of accessible resources so that nurses can start looking at their practice through an entrepreneurial lens.
