Dear YSN Community,
I write to follow up on President Salovey’s message regarding today’s Supreme Court decisions in the Harvard and UNC cases regarding the consideration of race in admissions.
The Yale School of Nursing (YSN) is committed to “better health for all people.” YSN will comply with the law, while also staying true to our obligation to prepare nurses and midwives with a commitment to serving the needs of the diverse communities in which they will provide care. We will keep this commitment at the forefront as we review our admissions process in the coming months.
