Associate Dean for Global Affairs & Planetary Health LaRon E. Nelson, PhD, RN, FNP, FNAP, FNYAM, FAAN, recently spoke to The New York Times for “A Fading Weapon in the H.I.V. Fight: Condoms” by Benjamin Ryan.
The article shares the some H.I.V. experts worry that the focus on prevention has accelerated a decline in condom use.
“We must find new ways to invigorate young folks’ interest in condoms and to expand their accessibility,” Dr. Nelson said.
