"In the life of any institution, there are a handful of pivotal moments that define its character, scope, and impact. The summer of 2013 will mark such a moment for the Yale School of Nursing, as our 450 students, faculty members, and staff relocate to a spacious, state-of-the-art facility on Yale’s West Campus.
The fully renovated building will have customized spaces suited to teaching, simulation, research, and laboratory needs. Equally important, the new facility offers an outward sign of progress that has already energized faculty and students. The time is ripe to position the School to meet the health care challenges of tomorrow and to foster new inter-professional connections.
I invite you help us envision an even greater school of nursing—one that educates a greater number of talented advanced practice nurses, makes more path-breaking discoveries, and helps bring better health to people around the world."
