Elizabeth DuBois

Elizabeth Dubois is currently the Director of Advanced Practice Nursing at Community Healthcare Network, a network of 11 Joint Commission certified, PCMH level 3, federally qualified health centers in New York City. In this role, she oversees the 40 Nurse Practitioners and Midwives at the organizations, putting an emphasis on recruiting, on-boarding, education, and growth as advanced practice nurses.  In addition, she maintains an active primary care practice, including adult, pediatric, gyn, and HIV care.

Ms. Dubois completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Arizona State University.  While working at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC as a registered nurse in multiple intensive care units, she also chaired the Practice Council Committee for the hospital.  She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing at Columbia University and was a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the nursing honors society.  She served a Clinical Instructor at Columbia University during this time, teaching the undergraduate nursing students, as well as a Nursing Coordinator for New York Presbyterian Hospital. 

She is currently a clinical instructor for Nurse Practitioner students at Yale University, New York University, University of Pennsylvania, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice students at Columbia University.  She is also an American Academy of HIV Medicine Specialist.
