Nana is currently employed at Yale School of Medicine in the section of Digestive Diseases working as a Nurse Practitioner in the Inflammatory Bowel Disease program. She also serves as part-time faculty at Gateway Community College in the nursing program. Nana received her BSc in Public Health Education, with a focus in sexually transmitted diseases, from Temple University in Philadelphia prior to transitioning to her nursing career. Her nursing experience includes medical, cardiac, trauma and surgical management of patients in the Intensive Care Units. Nana obtained both her BSN and MSN from Thomas Jefferson University, also in Philadelphia, and she is a board certified Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner.
