Ashley Folgo

Ashley Folgo began her undergraduate studies wanting to be a high school language teacher until an introductory psychology course changed everything during her first semester. She holds her bachelor’s degrees in psychology and chemical dependency and addiction studies from Rhode Island College, and in biological sciences from the University of Rhode Island. She attended MGH Institute of Health Professions as a Merit Scholar where she received both her bachelor and master of dcience in nursing. She was the recipient of the Rhode Island College Victoria Lederberg Psychology Faculty Award, the McLean Hospital Partners in Excellence Team Award, and the Rhode Island State Nurses Association Scholarship. Ashley is an ANCC certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner practicing in community mental health in a federally qualified health center and working with patients of all ages. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing as well as Psi Chi and Golden Key Honor Societies.
