Clinical and Tenure Track Faculty Position

The Yale University School of Nursing ( invites applications from (and nominations of) highly qualified candidates for tenure and clinical track faculty.

The mission of Yale School of Nursing is “better health for all people.” Yale School of Nursing has long been an innovator and leader in education, practice, and research. We were the first U.S. university-based nursing program and a leader in direct entry nursing for second-degree candidates. Our graduate entry pre-specialty in nursing (GEPN), nurse practitioner, midwifery, DNP, and PhD programs are world class and draw top quality students from around the globe. Faculty research covers a wide array of topics. We are national leaders in self-management with patients and families with chronic health conditions, palliative care, sleep science, health promotion, omics, and other innovative research areas. YSN scientists collaborate with colleagues across Yale, including the Center for Clinical Investigation supported by a Clinical and Translational Science Award, the Schools of Public Health and Medicine, the Veteran’s Health Administration, and community agencies, among others.

Faculty members in the Yale School of Nursing contribute to the tripartite mission of practice, scholarship, and teaching. We are seeking faculty members with academic experience, productive programs of science, and commitment to better health for all people through quality advanced practice and doctoral level nursing education.
