Event description:
YSN students and faculty will return to Uganda this summer to work with nurse midwives and traditional midwives at a birth center founded by Mother Health International. Our purpose is to better understand the deeply immersive community health model that has shown dramatic improvements in maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. Donations will be presented as gifts to mothers at the birth center. New and gently used cloth diapers are especially valued.
