Master of Nursing (MN)
An accelerated, sixteen-month master’s that brings a non-nursing graduate to registered-nurse licensure and a master’s degree. It is a complete degree in its own right: you graduate ready to practice as a registered nurse, and because you hold a master’s, you are also positioned to teach or pursue future doctoral training.

If you choose, go on to the Doctor of Nursing Practice: either to become a nurse practitioner in an advanced practice specialty, or to pursue a DNP in education as a nurse educator. The education DNP is currently in development at YSN.
Who Can Apply and How
Applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree in any field.
At this time, the MN program cannot enroll international students who require a student visa.
