The Creative Writing Awards at YSN recognize your creative expression. Your narratives shine a light on the profession and remind us all of the value and importance of nursing. You are encouraged to write an account of our work so that others will have an opportunity to peer into the world of nursing.
Submit a piece of no more than 2 pages on any topic that relates to nursing. Entries must be original work not published previously in any form and can include short prose or poetry. Please provide a title to your piece and send two attachments of your piece in one email-one that is blinded (no identifying information) and one that includes your name, email address and phone number. PLEASE LABEL THE SUBJECT of your email as follows: CWA submission. You may submit multiple entries.

A ceremony will be held to honor the best submissions on Thursday, May 5th. The winners will be determined by a distinguished panel and will each receive a $1000 cash award. Submissions are due April 15, 2022.
