This spring Operation House Call presents a pilot class on CULTURAL COMPETENCE IN CARE. Please join us. This is a topic area that can’t be neglected.

Friday May 31, 2019  1-3pm

Yale School of Nursing, West Campus, Room 11701

Because this is under the umbrella of Operation House Call, the class instructors are parents who have experience with intellectual and/or developmental disability in their family.

We will have an in-class training provided by Nanfi Lubogo, Co-Director of PATH/CT to explore issues with cultural competency. Then we will meet with a three-parent panel: Dawn Odour, Goviana Morales, and Paul Wang. Each parent will share different perspectives and interact with the class.

In partnership with Yale School of Nursing and the YSN Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
