The webinar will focus on the 10-year anniversary of the Ebola epidemic in West Africa with panelists Dr. Bernice Dahn, Former Minister of Health, Liberia; Dr. Sylla Thiam, Former Regional Director, Amref, West Africa; and David Mandu Farley Kelli-Coomber IV, Paramount Chief, Mandu Chiefdom, Sierra Leone.
Our panelists will share their reflections on the weaknesses in healthcare, public health, and health financing that exacerbated the Ebola crisis in their countries, as well as lessons learned that can be or have already been applied to better respond to emerging infectious disease threats, build more resilient health systems, and improve health outcomes globally.
