Over the coming months we will work together to collect items essential to mothers and their newborns. Then, as a community, we gather to assemble newborn bags to be presented to new mothers at St. Raphael’s Hospital (SRH). Many of us at YSN worked in maternal-child health while students or on faculty at YSN, so many of us have direct ties to this program. Additionally, Yale Nurse-Midwives deliver babies at SRH.
Please join the Yale Alumni Association for a Yale School of Nursing sponsored, campus-wide, country-wide Yale Day of Service entitled Newborns in Need. We will assemble the bags alongside Dean Kurth, YSN alumni, faculty, preceptors, staff, family, and friends.
