Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization joins the Yale Institute for Global Health Conversation Series on May 11 at 5 p.m. EST. Dr. Tedros will speak on Ensuring an Equitable Response to COVID-19 and Beyond. Dr. Tedros leads with the vision “It’s not health for most. It’s health for all: rich and poor, able and disabled, old and young, urban and rural, citizen and refugee. Everyone, everywhere.” A biologist and public health researcher, Dr. Tedros previously was Minister of Health and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia. He was included in Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2020.
