Amanda Swan, DNP, WHNP-BC, ANP, IFMCP
About
Amanda Swan, DNP, WHNP-BC, ANP, IFMCP is a part-time lecturer in the Yale School of Nursing Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner programs. She is a 2006 graduate of the Yale School of Nursing and received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Connecticut in 2024. She has advanced training in integrative and functional medicine and is the owner of Swan Integrative Health and Wellness in Glastonbury, CT. Dr. Swan is the instructor and coordinator of “Integrative and Holistic Health for the Advanced Practice Nurse”, an elective for second year MSN students which was piloted in the fall of 2024.
Dr. Swan’s clinical and professional interests include nutritional interventions for chronic illness prevention, the microbiome in health, perimenopausal care, and nurse entrepreneurship.
