About

Darcy Ulitsch is a full-time Lecturer in the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. Darcy has been an instructor in the AGACNP specialty since 2019, with experience teaching in the second year of specialty, helping students connect didactic material with clinical experiences using simulation, procedural workshops, case studies, and clinical rounds. Other teaching experience includes Critical Care Immersion, Advanced Physical Assessment, and Advanced Pathophysiology for all MSN specialties.  She is currently a practicing acute care nurse practitioner in surgical critical care at Hartford Hospital, with a foundational background in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit. She also works per diem in the Structural Heart Program for the Heart and Vascular Institute at Hartford Hospital.  

Clinical Practice

Darcy Ulitsch’s clinical interests include surgical critical care, cardiothoracic surgery, and mechanical circulatory support.
