Jessica Chan, MSN, APRN, PPCNP-BC

About

Jessica Chan, MSN, APRN, PPCNP-BC, is a Lecturer for the Yale School of Nursing Pediatric Primary Care program. In addition to teaching at YSN, Jessica works full-time as the Coordinator of Medical Services for Child and Family Agency’s School-Based Health Center program. 

Jessica received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Connecticut in 2010, and worked as a registered nurse at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital on the pediatric surgery unit and per diem at a local pediatric primary care office while pursuing her Master’s Degree. She received her MSN from Yale School of Nursing’s Pediatric Primary Care Program in 2014, and has worked clinically in both pediatric primary care and school-based health center settings. Her current position includes direct supervision of a staff of pediatric and family nurse practitioners and coordination of 13 school-based health centers in Southeastern Connecticut, as well as a new family outpatient clinic in New London, CT. Additionally, she works across Child and Family Agency programming to integrate and promote a racial framework for services by serving on the health equity subcommittee.
