Patrice O’Neill Wilhelm earned her BSN degree from Fairfield University and her MSN / FNP from Southern Connecticut University.           

is board certified as a family nurse practitioner. For eleven years, she worked in the department of Interventional Radiology as the lead advanced practice provider. In that role, she performed procedures under X-ray and ultrasound guidance. Patrice was instrumental in creating an IR consult team which improved communication between IR and the hospital and referring providers. She attended the IR outpatient clinic and created a NP run sclerotherapy clinic, treating varicose veins in the outpatient setting. For the past year, Patrice has been working for Yale Medicine as the specialty referral coordinator. In this newly developed role, she will be working with Yale specialists to create referral guidelines which are available in epic. She has also taught at the graduate level at SCSU and Quinnipiac University.
