Payal Sharma, DNP, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, CBN

Dr. Sharma earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University through a 5-year accelerated BSN–MSN program and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Yale University. A Certified Bariatric Nurse with over 14 years of clinical and leadership experience across hospital, private practice, and virtual care settings, she specializes in obesity medicine, bariatric surgery, and clinical innovation.

She has led initiatives to standardize and optimize clinical workflows, implement telemedicine and remote monitoring programs, and integrate large-scale EMR systems, including serving as a clinical lead for multi-institutional projects. Dr. Sharma provides comprehensive care to patients at any point in their weight loss journey, including pre- and post-operative management, prescribing evidence-based anti-obesity pharmacotherapy, and leading quality improvement initiatives that uphold accreditation and patient safety standards.

Dr. Sharma bridges clinical practice, technology, and operations to expand access, improve outcomes, and advance the future of care delivery. Her passion lies in developing weight management and virtual care models that enhance efficiency, scalability, and the patient experience.
