Breazeale represents YSN at the Three Minute Thesis preliminary competition

Stephen Breazeale represented YSN in the Three Minute Thesis preliminary competition with his presentation on recognizing mental health symptoms in those with traumatic physical injuries. Over the course of his research and work as nurse, he said “it has become obvious that in addition to treating a trauma survivor’s physical injuries, their post-injury symptoms, like pain and depression, needed to be addressed in order to promote healing of the entire individual—both body and mind.”
